Recorded February 20, 2009.
Endurance Glacier is a broad glacier, 7 miles wide, north of Mount Elder, draining southeast to the south coast of Elephant Island, South Shetland Islands. It is the main discharge glacier on the island.
The video begins as we continue our sail around Elephant Island and approach the Endurance Glacier. The weather was remarkable with its bright sunshine and blue skies.
