The Dingo is considered one of the best british AFVs from WW2. The Mk I had a 4 wheel steer system but this was dropped, due to inexperienced drivers, from the Mk II. It also had run flat tyres which is very usful as scout cars don't want to have to stop to change a puncture.

  • @ac3b1s 31 years old oh I wish!! I was born in 62, my dad in 27. 1979 is my employee number, regards CK.

  • @cindyk1979 you are 31 years old and your father was a soldier in World War II ? He had ben in his late 50th´s as you was born... respect xD

  • My Dad drove one during WWII. He said it was known as the "tin coffin" because if you rolled it over and the lower escape door was damaged or blocked you were stuck inside.

But he still preferred it over a bren carrier.

  • Yeah only problem is in America most British vehicles are not very popular with sellers. Willys Jeeps dominate the market of ww2 vehicles here
