I never understood drummers that have their toms up high! I love every piece of my kit being flat....so I can get a good solid hit.

great !!butt for most of us a 4 or 5 piece is about all i can manage living on the first floor in a small flat, lugging my drums around myself :(

Pays the bills man. With a gig of that caliber, they are paying him well. So in the end, he's making a good living off doing what he loves. =]

Haha, while as I do agree that a lot of good drummers get their start and hone their chops in church. Not all of the "best" start out playing in church though. Vinnie Colaiuta didn't, nor did Dennis Chambers. Not even Tony Royster, Jr! It has nothing to do with where you came up playing, but rather the drive, dedication and love for your craft. =]
