I disagree. The band just evoluted, and the depth of the songs was kept as their main characteristic, and developed into subtle and powerful arrangements and lyrics. All that fueled by Sade´s human sensibility, unique in masterpieces like Immigrant, or Is It a Crime - it´s mind blowing.

They shot themselves in the foot? Oh well, They survived and learned to earn their way through the whole world. Today 2011, she tours again, finally. Over fifty million records sold. She's still the reigning female 'smoth jazz' artist.

I've loved Sade and the band since 83, and first heard this song on the DL tour of 84, but not quite in this raw state. I now realise that what I heard back then (and on Promise) was completely ruined. This has to be one of teh best performances ive ever heard by Sade (the band)
