I am proud to say I was in the musical , Camelot, back in college with Rebecca. She played Guinevere and she was wonderful then and she is just as wonderful ow. I would love to see her in a Broadway play and talk to her backstage. I went to see Kismet in Bham, AL with her x roommate, Val. At the time, Rebecca was doing an Advil commerial(She had been in Phantom. Val sent a note to her -I sure could use some Advil.We talked to her.I made her sign my yearbook.She wrote, "Camelot,arrgh!" LOL

that's why she's been on broadway for almost 20 years now! She knows how to take care of her voice & sing so beautifully!

@cashlezz as much as i adore this very special lady, i think even ms luker herself would agree that streisand is in another league.

@louietheiceaxe Why do people listen to Barbra Streisand?, because her tone is more natural and her phrasing is impeccable for a girl of age 20 when she did Funny Girl. Not to say Rebecca Luker isn't great herself, their singing style are different.

I like the way Rebecca never tries to belt out a song like some Broadway sopranos but appears to think about the lyrics she's singing, and makes it appear so effortless. Great version. Thanks
