I can remember when Detroit was a thriving city. Block after block of beautiful Victorian style homes. If you were willing to work, a great job with a good wage was yours. Sad to see the city now.

@bigtown because if you live there you might not realize it, but its not normal to have hundreds of square miles of a city abandoned and in ruin. And to have the average home price be 6,000 and homes selling for 1 dollar. I live in the west (reno nv) and I cant imagine that. We have maybe a few buildings and a few homes in the entire city that arent occupied, not thousands, not entire districts. and thats how it is in most places ive been to here in the west. This video is very depressing

@HarryTruthman You're exactly right; Reagan (aka Raygun) was the beginning of the end for this system. That's when they started going overboard with the propaganda, illegal union firings, illegal wars (we were even taken to the world court in '84), etc. But, of course, they went overboard now...and now we're in a light depression....people are on the verge of rioting....but yet they're proposing shit like 9-9-9....lol...will they never learn.
