A rain wrapped EF5 tornado during the April 27, 2011 Super Outbreak after the tornado passes I drove through the damage path and while I was heading to the damage path another tornado was right behind the first tornado unsure if it ever was on the ground. This is in northern Lawrence County in the Trinity, Alabama area around the time it was crossing Hwy 20. It is the same tornado that was at EF5 strength in Hackleburg, Alabama.

  • You should've recorded while you were in the Tornado. Will be more exciting :D

  • @douglashazelwood I've got a setup to get video inside the tornado next time so hopefully I can get you that shot.

  • @trueworship424, This was the long tracked EF5 tornado that went through Hackleburg, Phil Campbell, Mount Hope, Hillsboro, Trinity, Tanner, Harvest.

I began the video going north on Hwy 67 then from 0:53 to 4:06 I am at the Hwy 67/Hwy 24 overpass in Decatur and from 4:07 to end I am going west down Hwy 20.

  • @argosy56, Yeah this was right there at the Marvins on Hwy 67. @landonsmith100, I've been helping out in Mt. Hope that and Tanner seem to be the areas where the tornado was at its highest in strength you were lucky.

  • Great footage Yamaha. Keep it up.

  • @Thelxltan you think it's funny until you walk outside and look around you only to find dead bodies laying in yards and houses, trees, and power lines thrown all over the roads. Those are people who lost families, and memories that they will never get back, and your making jokes? You should be ashamed coming from a guy who lives here.

  • i live in moulton

  • it got bigger because they needed to release gasses so it wouldnt cause an explosion
