Here's some colour footage you might not have seen: Stepping Stone, Ezy Rider

There's not much video of ezy rider, so I threw in some pictures

Band of Gypsys
December 31 1969
Second Show

Jimi Hendrx, Buddy Miles on drums , and Billy Cox on Bass

I had to redub the audio, it was horrible in the original video

You can find "Fire" from the same concert in colour if you search

RIP BUDDY MILES

  • Sometimes it drives me mad not knowing how Jimi would be like today.I know one thing,he was far ahead of his time he was like a runaway train. If Jimi was still with us today he still would be without a doubt the greatest most advanced guitarist on the planet.Even today his music still sounds fresh, and alot of kids today are turning on to Hendrix. It's very contagious.

  • Awesome, we can hear the playing and voice more than the distortion!

  • Wow this is a cool video really is ...never heard this live

  • Man was light years ahead of that time!

  • @donibegood You know this was Buddy Miles right? I mean I love Mitch but think they are both great.

  • There is no point in wondering what may have been.

Just absorb what he did while he was here. Jimi was definitely ahead of the 60's but, what it boils down to was he had soul. That is what is lacking in so much of todays music.

40 years later and people ae still amazed by him. Jimi is the man!!!!

  • This Prove's Mitch Mitchell Was The Best Drummer 4 Jimi Hendrix, Mitch Jazz Style Was Better 4 Jimi's Improvation On Guitar.
