TIL - Sustainable China

Earlier this year, Lawrence received a $50,000 grant from the Henry Luce Foundation to support the development of a program called Sustainable China: Integrating Culture, Conservation and Commerce.

Last week, Lawrence hosted two professors from the Karst Institute at Guizhou Normal University in Guiyang, China. It was a rare opportunity for students to interact with Chinese faculty, to learn more about issues affecting the Guizhou Province, and to share with them aspects of a liberal arts education at Lawrence.
