Only someone who was never in a fight before would call that fake. You get hit hard enough by a good fighter when you're not expecting it, and you try to keep standing but your legs literally give out from under you. Of course Liston was bear crawling after being punched, he was trying NOT to go down!

Anybody who calls it fake is misinformed. Have you ever felt a glove hit your face? it hurts with even the slightest amount of force applied. Now add the shear power and speed of The Greatest and well....you're gonna get laid out!!

That was the most blatantly obvious dive ever recorded. Liston the 40 something turd (yeah yah, we know he claimed to be 32, but take one look at his ancient mug and truthfully admit to yourself that he was a day under 40) was even more blatant at throwing the second fight than he was in the 1st, where he performed a lesson in pacifism, throwing love taps and forgetting how to cut off a ring. What a bum.
