  • Do you not think the gay parents, having more than likely experienced their share of oppression at some point in their lives, allow the child his or her freedom of choice? It comes down to the question; would a child raised by homosexuals also in fact be one? Then comes the age old debate of whether homosexuality is governed by environment or chemical makeup. Judging by the cases you hear of the 'anti-gay redneck dad' Vs. 'the gay son who runs away', I'd be inclined to go with the latter.

  • I know not all gays will adopt, but not all straights procreate. I mean, I don't see anyone making moves to beak up straight marriages who don't have children.

  • Coward!

    I'm glad McShame lost too.

  • If you watch shows like Maury, and Jerry Springer, and all the other trash talk TV. Do we really want everyone who can procreate to do so. Just because someone can reproduce doesn't mean that they should. Take sarah palins parents as an example.

  • Because he said leave it to a vote and he had a view but wouldnt impose it on anyone and he's the bad guy?

  • I love how they proclaim what "americans" want...Hey Romney - kiss my ass and STFU!

  • Mitt Romney and John McCain should be 100% for gay adoption. I thought he was promising "change" WTF? Douche BAGS!! -_-'

  • You know why they oppose gay adoption? It shows that there's a very valid component to gay marriage. Its the biggest thing that just shuts up the Right's argument. They bring up gay couples not being able to have children as an example of why gay marriage shouldn't be legal. Adoption, in many cases, not only shows that heterosexual marriage isn't all that ideal, but it also shows that gay spouses can serve a very real purpose in our society.

  • McCain and Romney are just heartless. Republicans always talk up state right when it suits them. However, when the states truly make up their own mind on something the federal government disagrees with, then Washington puts its foot down. People are just wrong to vote people like this in and keep on voting for them. They don't feel that way about gay marriage. They're not saying, just let the states decide. No, they're trying to get the supreme court to ban it nationally. assholes

  • Last time I checked, gay people were members of families too. IS this really the message we want to put out? That gay people, no matter how hard they try, don't and will not ever belong? That they can't grow up expecting the sames things as everyone else because they are something less than everyone else? Jesus Christ.
