pdalaigh: We, the people of the US, are not the ones deciding the future of other countries. It's our politicians. If you want anybody to point the finger at, point it at them. The soldiers, evne people in the government disagreed with what they had done and what they were doing, not just there but all around the world. Many still do today. Back then, they were forced to do what they did. What you're saying would be like if I called all Muslims terrorists. Not all Americans are imperalistic.

I am a american who married a khmer women whos family lived this. I am in tears knowing the truth is hard. my wife nor father places blame on my home land. We wont let hate over come love. So if you have no ties to this dont even speak on this. Was the acts wrong Yes Should they be judged yes by God!! Hate in you kills you!!

Dad worked with a guy who lived through it. He doesn't blame my homeland (US) for it. Remember, it was a different game being played in the White House back then too. They did alot of shitty stuff.

He said they didn't just kill people sympathetic to the US or anti-communists, they killed anybody that could cause trouble for them. Particularly anybody that looked like they had an education, or any type of tie to Western society.
