  • Perfection. With the man himself at the piano, and his muse and most adept interpreter at the microphone, this a rendition to treasure.

  • Love this Combination of Stephen and Bernadette... BRAVO!!!

  • great song! lets all go to the circus...LOL

  • idk

  • Composer's accompaniment for his Muse. Speechless... Brava!

  • bernadette really gets this like no one else. u can hear it acknowledged by sondheim in his accompaniment here. the dry short phrases that sound sorta nervous are no doubt perfectly appropriate for this. this work is not about about external dramatics and syrupy sappiness, but instead a more deeply personal and internal journey!

  • I'm crying and applauding.... Oh! Not at Ms. Peters' performance. It's kind of dead, although her voice is never less than pure. I'm crying and applauding over THIS COMMENTS COLUMN! Amazing! Thirty-nine comments, and not ONE saying "gay" or "ur retarted"!

There are differences of opinion here -- some think Bernadette's performance is perfect and others (like me) think it's rather lifeless -- but nobody has been insulting! Maybe it just says something about the kind of people who love Sondheim.

  • Mind blowing.

  • In both "Losing My Mind" and this, all she has done is stand there and sing... Somehow this is the most emotional song I have heard and she is just standing there with no emotion.

  • How could anybody press dislike! This is the most amazing and beautiful song I have ever seen!

  • She has always been beautiful for whatever she did. A true Goddess for hundreds of years...
