June 20, When Barack Obama Lost My Vote

When Barack Obama came to Columbus on February 27, 2008 and I heard him promise to preserve, protect and defend the U.S. Constitution, he won my vote in the Ohio Primary. On June 20, 2008, Barack Obama declared his support for H.R. 6304, a bill that enables warrantless wiretapping of American citizens. Barack Obama declared support for searches of your home and your property without your knowledge, without a warrant, anywhere and any time the government wants. Now that Barack Obama supports the gutting of the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution, Barack Obama has lost my vote. If he wants my vote back, Mr. Obama will have to keep the promise he made to me and thousands of others that February day in Ohio. Defend the Constitution, Mr. Obama. It's what you swore you would do.

As bad as our politicians are here in America, I'd much rather live here than anywhere else. Enjoy socialism, enjoy 50%+ and growing taxes elsewhere, enjoy gun bans and all the crime they bring. We're much more free than a lot of other countries. I'd rather live here than in the shifting sands (that are long overdue for another huge war) of Eurasia.

Maybe Obama is a liar, and maybe he's running on the same platform FDR ran on in 1932, but we'll vote him out next year!

most people agree w/third parties but are afraid to waste their vote or whatever, but what about everyone who voted for McCain? or Al Gore?

We do have a choice, but we need more people making that choice!
