World War II Victory Parade Red Square 1945 -Color-

-Парад Победы 24 июня 1945 года- This is the original victory parade the Soviet Union held in Red Square, June 24th, 1945. The Soviets only were able to obtain roughly twenty minutes worth of color film for this event, which unfortunately meant the entire parade could not be caught on color. However, it was the first major Soviet event to be captured in color. This parade documents the Allies triumph over the Axis powers during the Second World War, the Soviet Union lost nearly thirty million of its people defending their motherland against Nazi Germany. May we never forget the struggle, or sacrifice of all Allied soldiers fighting against evil.

End the pro-Soviet nationalistic vibes people, it's annoying. Now Stalinist USSR was a disgrace of a country, one which deserved to have its collective face ground into the mud -- it's just that Nazi Germany was a little bit worse. So maybe it's the slightly lesser of two evils. Hell, if the USA didn't stare down and scare Russia, perhaps Stalin would have been worse.

Remember to scream with joy that Stalinist USSR is now dead forever, although I think many watching this video forget.

Real bummer how at 10:05 they start tossing all of those German military standards and flags onto the ground. Shows the true character (or lack thereof) of the Russian beast and the disrespect and contempt he feels for anyone not related to him. What a shame...I bet they wish they'd kept them so they could Ebay 'em. Would be worth a fortune outside of France!
