  • this is dumbest shit ive ever seen. why does everything have to be turned into racisim? it's an innocent film. how about reverse racism like minority scholarships NOT open to "european americans", jobs not for "whites" due to diversity laws, drastic welfare percentage differences among races, etc.? guess we will turn a blind eye like christians turn a blind eye on the whole gluttony thing.

  • I guess your blinded by your shallow views. Man wake up, this is 2008.

  • Man or women please. Get a life.

  • appropriate response for a person of your intelligence.

  • Ha HA HA, I hope people look at your page. They will see how much sense you have. Have a great life.

  • Depicted as bafoons? Has this guy even seen the movie? Brer Rabbit outsmarts Brer Fox and Brer Bear constantly and hes as much a black character as the other two. Stop seeing everything as racist when it wasnt intended as such. Blacks will never grow out of racism with such an inferiority complex.

  • I'm gonna go hang myself now. "Blacks being depicted as buffoons?" You've gotta be freaking kidding me! Anybody who's ever seen this film knows that the main character, Uncle Remus, is nothing short of a wonderful person who is just trying to help Johnny, the boy in the film, get through a troubling time in his life. But I guess that's what buffoonery is now; and one other thing: THERE WAS NO REFERENCE TO SKIN COLOR IN THIS MOVIE!

  • I don't care WHAT that man says; THAT was then, and THIS is now >;o(

  • I can't blame those people for that decision, but I feel that this racism thing should just be a thing of the Past, and something that everyone can find funny, even though it WAS NOT funny in the first place.

  • i agree with igamabob...

  • Well I see the Marxist NAACP has far too much time on their hands!

  • shallow views? im pretty sure my views are alot deeper than yours if you disagree with me. i believe in equal opportunity for everyone...color shouldnt even be a factor anymore..yet our government keeps it around. im wide awake...maybe you should stop pretending like racism can only occur against one race.
