An International and Interfaith Group of Religious Leaders of IRPC Pakistan and International
THE MISSION OF THE IRPC is to demonstrate that peace is possible, and that effective anti-religious collaboration to make peace also is possible. In a world where religion too often is used to justify division, hatred, and violence, the IRPC Councilors offer an alternative: The example of leaders from different religious communities working together in practical ways to relieve suffering and to make the world whole.
"The IRPC is was found in 1999 in Lahore by a group like-minded. People to date, its office bears belong to different religious. Communities and all communities are given a share in decision-making within the organization. IRPC is promoting cooperation among the Muslim, Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Bahais, José, Parses, Balmeekes and Buddhists, among others. The IRPC Seek to identify common religious. Commitments and principles to conducive to the peace of the human community. As yet, this NGO does not receive any financial aid or grant from donors. Agencies and is surviving on donations received from its members and office bears.But we are looking for some financial aid from the other countries or multi-orginizations for the benifit of the people of Pakistan without the boundries of any religion but on the basis of Humanity.
We made this origination with purpose to bring together minority groups who are living here in fear. We are family culture, Social and religious activities, Says Dr. Amjid Hussain Chishti (Secretary General IRPC) The organization has offices in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar. It is run on voluntary basis. The organization provides a potential base on local and national levels for peace-related activities. Last year, the organization celebrated Christmas in the YMCA Hall Mall Road Lahore, Pakistan. With Hindus and Muslims cutting the Christmas cake. About 250 to 400 people attended this event. In the same fashion, this year Dewily was celebrated with Christians and Muslims participating in the event.
The IRPC works on the principal, if people are to overcome their religious biases and prejudices, the will have to involved in other religious as well celebrating Hollies with Hindus and EID with Muslims can give better perspectives in to others religious, than perhaps listening to along speech on inter-faith harmony. The IRPC organization is affiliated with the World Conference of Religion for Peace. The organization believes that multi-religion corporation is important for spreading peace.
Moreover, it is a need of the time because the challenges facing our society often cut across social, ethics and political boundaries. The IPRC is committed to working together for the common needs of the whole community of life. The Council will build bridges through the message of non-violence, compassion, human rights, and universal responsibility, individual and collective."
