Dresden Dolls - Exit Music (for a film) (Radiohead cover)

Here's the Dresden Dolls last night covering Radiohead's "Exit Music (for a film) beautifully. This was at the Seattle stop of their Fuck the Backrow film/music showcase in which winning short films from their contest were shown, then the Dresden Dolls performed.

I personally love both of these bands (the Dresden Dolls and Radiohead)

they both have absolutely gorgeous lyrics that inspire a range of people weather its political or just a song about childhood dramas which we all know The Dresden Dolls have alot of..

and i don't think it matters who covers who or whatever, because its all a sense of respect for each others band if that makes any sense :P

I highly doubt it, but he does have the same hair, oh wait that's a hat.... It doesn't look like the DD's drummer though. This is cool... I didn't know they did a cover of this tune. Cool arrangement of it. I just posted a cover of this song the other night. Her voice is brilliant on this.

Doing a shit cover of a song way out of your physical range has nothing to do with being a woman. It's just a poor choice.

This doesn't suck, and that's about the best complement you can give to anyone trying to cover this song. It's just too perfect as is, theres no room for alternative interpretation that can anyway improve on the original.

NOBODY. and i mean n-o-b-o-d-y can compare to Thom Yorke. God himself, (whom i don't even believe in),could not come close to the beauty of a radiohead song.

i have nothing against the dresden dolls but i think every band should simply stay away from doing radiohead covers in public. they've already been mastered.

He should have switched to drums for the mid-song drum intro. the best part of the song, in my opinion.
