@KooKas2oo8 That's right! But It's not just money. It's education. Culture. Society. Japan is generally better in these fields. People shouldn't compare countries like this anyways. We are all human! Go global. Only one-minded arrogant nationalists can go on and on about how something is better than something else. In the end nobody cares about them.
People should travel overseas more at an early age to realize the world!

You say the US MILITARY as if they're world leaders in robotics. Japan is ahead of the US in that field, so actually...
The reason is because Japan spends a lot more money on it. Robots are actually a part of everyday culture in Japan, and the industry continues to expand. In America, you still have completely mechanical toilets. Primitive! :P
But yeah. I don't think we will be replacing real people with robots in something like a fire brigade. Maybe the police, or the army.
