what the...
the breaking part is a LIE!!! omgzomg! :O
a forklift only breakes on it's 2 front wheels!! not 4 wheels, stupid bitch :(
front wheels are for accelerating and breaking, while the backwheel is just for handling the shit. how else could trucks have 1 backwheel :p

rofl, a person can't be too smart to go in front of raised forks on a forklift in a downwards slope, with a solid block of smth between him and the lift...
take down the forks, tilt them forward so they hit the ground, set it neutral, put up the parking break, use some duct tape and tape it good! (okay, the last part was a joke...)
sily man

@toba122 What do you think happens when something gets crushed?
-
NEVER stand in front of a fixed object. ever
-
did he die?
-
@mickblock < You nimrod. ALWAYS lower the forks before leaving the seat and never put yourself between equipment and solid, stationary objects. Not only is that common sense, that's also OSHA regs.
Terms like "crush zone" and "pinch point" have been around since mule logging days you jackass.
People like you get good people killed.

@SirChadwic yep and with todays greed it is funny that when I hurt my back 6 months ago I asked management if I could use a couple of days sick time that I have accumalated... yes it is maxed out as I never use it... and I was told no I had to work.... funny now how now if I turn my head one way and my legs are in a certain position I lose control of my legs and I hit the floor.... and this is suppost to be a safety concious company.... and trust me quality of life has diminshed

my coworker put a 1930's hyster on it's side .. he is lucky he didnt catch any of his extremities between the ground and the forklift
At the Brewery I worked, the entry where we clocked in was a long hallway. At the end of the hallway was a sign I read everyday. *NO JOB IS SO IMPORTANT, NO TASK IS SO GREAT, THAT YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO TAKE THE TIME TO DO IT SAFELY* It stayed in my mind every day. I suggest every work place have this sign in their entry. And have it where they can completly read it before they walk pass it. Many times I said those words to people working unsafe and they would stop and say thanks.

that's one of the benefits of moving jobs to china, india, and mexico, you can operate factories in unsafe conditions and not have to worry about lawsuits.
