I love trombones in this especially when both of the melody as a round and then split the part into chords! that was pretty epic i never heard them play it like that!

it is the mouth piece that gives it it's classification; saxophones are at the end of the evolution of woodwinds related to recorders, canters, clarinets etc. when was the last time you saw a wooden flute in an orchestra? a jew's harp is percussive, and a hand grenade is concussive. and flying u-boats do exist...

From what I can tell they're playing is a lot like a New Orleans brass band. Which contains a sax, which is why I'm assuming they have one.

All I know is I'm glad these guys have a sax in the group. Because they inspired the brass band I'm in and I'd be out of a job if these men didn't have a tenor player.

Saxophones are made from brass but classed as woodwind! Still awesome though...

do these guys tour do jazz fests etc etc, im in montreal these guys would be the bomb here.
