the visual change is dramatic so it is easy to jump to conclusions that the forest has been destroyed... Clearing the pine forest and leaviing the broadleaf trees allows for much more light into the area and allows for natural regeneration of native woodland, therefore more native plants, more butterflys, more mammals, more birds etc.... when we see a coniferous plantation that has been clear felled please think of the long term benefits and not the inital visual change.

lovely video captured before the forest has been destroyed by over zealous deforestation so called management - its a disgrace -go there now and see the carnage....!!!!!!!!. managed my arse that tree is probably gone now.!!!!!
