@mevashir These two 'prophets' that you speak of did not intend to die any more than the Jewish people planned to kill them.Pure Christian fiction created at the earliest 40 years after the execution took place. And had the predominently gentile following of Jesus,had an inkling of Torah knowledge, or understood thier political enviroment this Judaism of the cross would not have contributed to Jerusalems destruction. 70A.D coincidence?Paul was a straight up traitor to his people.All for numbers.

@mevashir Jews of Herods time hated him. (fail) Herod was in Romes pocket. Its a stretch to suggest that if a Jew didnt subscribe to the Christian postulate that they subscribed to Herod.Consider the differences between the Pharasees and the Saducees.Huge difference. Compare them both to the Esscenes.Then compare them to the Galileans that were well known for thier lack of Torah knowledge and literacy.Your attempt to put all these eggs in one basket demonstrates a lack of discernment.(contabove)

Jews worship the roman god of war that herod dedicated his temple wall to. herod was an edomite, murdering usurper of david's throne whom the talmudic rabbis venerated out of fear and love for money and power. Jesus and John the Baptist spoke the truth to him and to other compromising elites and paid with their lives, like true prophets. Jews follow profits not prophets.
