These series deserved at least 8 seasons not 4 and 1 3hr episode/movie.

I feel that there won't be a space sci-fi this good or better for another decade, even the last stargate is a disapointment, took the worse from bsgalatica and merged into an annoying shaky camera space soap opera >:(

A bit late. but... I actually liked SG: Universe. A lot. Maybe because I felt they took nothing from Galactica, which became a royal piece of crap after season 1. I would even put it in my list of SF series which got axed far too early. Why is it that shows like Firefly or Defying Gravity don´t even get a 2nd season while garbage like BSG gets celebrated by critics?

Space: Above and Beyond, Firefly and Farscape... All great space shows that got cancelled too soon.

I agree with you because I think it was one of Sci Fi's better shows. When I think of how long Stargate lasted and think Farscape and BSG only got 4 years, it's kind of pathetic.

However, the show had problems. There were quite a few poor episodes, characters would suddenly disappear or reappear, storylines would be dropped, and stuff that just generally didn't make sense. . As much as I loved it, it was a little chaotic.

Unbelievable...meanwhile Sci Fi Channel can fund ALL of those stupid ass "50 foot Mutant Cockroach from Venus attacks Boise, Idaho" type of movies. And they let the QUALITY stuff like Farscape disappear??
