  • Soon the music festival will be gone. Harness racing will soon be gone. The fair will continue to go downhill without horse racing. I think they should rename BANGOR; The Bothersome Man.

  • Bangor is awesome! I took my mum up there in the beginning of September as a combination birthday/Christmas present. I'm a Stephen King fan so we did the SK Tours scene, but we also drove out to Bar Harbor, which was outstanding! Back to Bangor: their downtown is small but well worth it. Last night we were there we went to Massimo's, a nice Italian restaurant with the best lasagne I ever ate. Nice trip.

  • this is the actual birthplace of modok from marvel: the avengers

  • i live in irvington right now and one day hopefully i can make my way up to Bangor

  • @goodtovent Well I ve been to Bangor twice and I really loved this town. Not just because of Stephen King but the people I met there were so nice and friendly. And I found some nice places to shop and stay that arent too pricey.

Plus Bangor in summer is so much more beautiful and there is so much more to do, recreational-wise! But still Bangor in winter was exciting too!

And I visited Bangor a tourist from the UK!

  • Wow, the Bangor Symphony Orchestra is the OLDEST in the country... not the second. Creepy how I know some of these people...
