There are probably plenty of things you already know about the iconic American Brand known as The Ford Motor Company. Its founder Henry Ford started the business in a converted factory in 1903 with $28,000 in cash from twelve investors. By 1924, nine out of 10 cars on the road-- anywhere in the world-- were Ford vehicles. Back then you could could buy the Model T, the first automobile mass-produced on assembly lines with completely interchangeable parts, for $290. Mr. Ford used wood scraps from the production of Model T's to create Kingsford Charcoal. The trivia about this American-made success story goes on and on.
