That is weird...
I can't roll my tongue at all. I wish I could. My Spanish always gets pissed when I don't roll my tongue but I just can't do it.

@area51mvh I guess I know that much. It's not that I can't roll my tongue at all, I can manage a seriously brief 'R' roll, but, I can't do it unless I'm singing something in Italian or Spanish. It won't work with plain speech, or when I try to make the sound by itself. I do all the things I've been told, yet, I fail to make the sound.

@peanuts447 Try to say a normal "rrr" sound like you would in English. Now relax your tongue a bit. If it doesn't work, try raising the pitch of your voice a bit. That's how I learned it (I was in a similar situation once).

LOL, he literally ROLLED his tongue. but when I do it my tongue isn't as visible and it isn't so close to my teeth. btw, I don't speak Spanish but my native language involves more trilling.
