Road Trip to Washington DC/Arlington Virginia

I took a road trip with my friend down to Washington DC during the week of the Cherry Blossom Festival - during a heat wave! The city had to bring in extra ambulances because people so many people were collapsing from heat related problems.

We did many things, and here are some of them:

The White House
Lincoln Memorial & Reflecting Pool
Washington Monument
Arlington National Cemetery
Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknowns
International Spy Museum
Hamburger Hamlet, MD
Gunston Hall Plantation, VA

We stayed at the Hyatt Place in Sterling, VA. Great staff and good service.
