@bakedsugarcookies Check out my playlist linked below & you'll find a video compilation of several Maxwell House coffee commercials they did. Julius Wechter was perhaps the best Marimbist who ever lived. I just had a chance to speak with his wife the other night. My channel of 800 playlists is a tribute to spectacular musicians like BMB creator Julius Wechter. JW was the composer of 'Spanish Flea', the Dating Game theme, & many other TJB tunes like 'Up Cherry Street'. chuck

This reminds me of some of the 1960's commercials for song strange reason.

i've found the 45 to this song in 1989 and got me interested into this group's stuff.while they say 'they don't need no stinking hits, this was their biggest hit of the four songs that charted for them(#41pop in 1964).i also got this on cd too today at a thrift store(paid $2.99 for it and it was worth it!).good tune

I had a little 6 member band my Freshman year. We dressed like these guys, entered a talent contest & this was our opening song. The 2 trumpeters sitting on the floor leaning back to back, sombreros slightly forward, taking a Siesta. Stage lights came up slowly as the piano started the song. Wonderful memory & so happy to finally find a post of this great song. Thanks!
GrandmaSue, Thanks for the nice comment. I ordered the CD this song came on from Amazon & it was back ordered for over 6 months. I kind of gave up on it, then it arrived just the other day & I knew I just had to upload this song. Glad you enjoyed it !
