In the summer of 2009, a group of students from the Loewenberg School of Nursing visited Switzerland and France to learn about nursing as it is performed in publicly-funded health care systems in Europe. The group, headed up by Dr. Carolyn Speros, also visited the headquarters of UNAIDS, the United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS, as well as the World Health Organization and the International Council of Nursing. The group also took in the sights of cities in France, Germany and Switzerland; visited hospitals and toured museums.
A great nursing school.
