  • @watarukannuzuki I am glad you understand this concept. The concept of a floor & ceiling bounce is the same as an overcast sky with a lite up concrete or snowy pavement. I have been asked so many ridiculous questions before like "why would I ever want to do a floor & ceiling bounce?" when really hes probably already done plenty of it in his own portfolio by natural light & he just didn't realize it.

  • Cloudy days do make for some great shoots.

    One of the best videos I ever shot, from a lighting standpoint, was after a snowfall, mid-morning, with an overcast sky. The whole outdoors was basically a giant softbox. I didn't have to use any other light source, and I wasn't even using that great a camera. The only downside was that I had to be my own talent ;P
