  • One last thing, I don't trust Obama as far as I could throw him with my weak arm at this point. Nothing he's done so far has done anything to improve this country what so ever, only wreaked havoc on it. Anything he tries to do now, this close to election is only an effort to win back the support he lost over the last 3 1/2 years so he can get elected to another term.........God Help Us if that happens. I think he'd do just about anything to get a vote at this point in the game, I hope he doesn't

  • Amen..........well said Rep. Flemming! I'm glad somebody has the nards to stand up and tell it like it is. I just wish those true statements didn't fall on deaf ears because it seems like nobody in Washington is listening to sound advice. Something has got to change in this country and soon before we completely lose this nation and our democracy.

  • @claudiaseversen Gas prices are going to jump. Libya is a part of OPEC. OPEC splits oil revenue between member-nations. Either we're buying less oil, so we don't bomb the same guy who is selling us oil, or we're being charged more for attacking a member-nation of OPEC. Or both.

  • @rpbakeriii Libya is a member-nation of OPEC. If you piss off one OPEC member, they charge you more for oil. The truth is, we are buying less oil from international sources. If we continued to buy oil at the pre-Libya conflict rate, we'd be bombing, and giving money to, the same guy. This is a re-election gambit.

  • None of our oil comes from Libya

  • this will ensure no increase in cost of living pay for retiree's.,....smart move.

  • How much did we pay for those reserves...$1.85, $1.25 gal? How much is it going to cost us to replace them? Were'nt they ment to be used for emergencies like war? Why are we using them now when prices are going down already?

  • But it does weaken our future response options. He is serious about reducing America to poverty and defenselessness.

  • Well said!
