I love this stuff..................some nice interlocking melodies in the slendro tuning (a scale made up of 5 notes equally spaced over an octave).They are playing a repeating pattern that interlocks with one hand while playing a melodie over it in unison with the other hand.The instruments are slightly detuned to create oscillations between the frequencies called beating.
