A Lion really makes the Tiger nervous? The Tiger actually starts to shake uncontrollably at the site of a Lion. There was an incident where a Lioness chased a male Tiger off it's food in an enclosure and the Tiger growled. The Lioness (about 25 feet away now), paid no mind and continued to feed and the Tiger just laid down submissively. Later the Tiger brought back some of the meat it had run off with after the Lioness chased it away as a gesture of submissiveness.
