If they were shooting for "gay friendly", they could have done without the second guy scooting away. It's funny, in a way, but it makes me sad they didn't just have the guy look confused or something. (Or better yet, confused yet intrigued-- a "hey sis, can I call you back?" and a raised eyebrow would have worked lovely.) Ah well! :3

I like how they showed the gay guy as very masculine, but I don't like how the other guy scooted away from him. They could have done it better if he just said "Excuse me, I'm on the phone!" so it looked like he was mad at being interrupted rather than at the man being into other men.

It seems that the punchline is more homophobic than anything. I do not see this as a pro-gay ad.
