Removing carpet stains requires scraping off as much of the stain as possible, blotting it with mild detergent and water, then blotting it with rubbing alcohol. Remove carpet stains, making sure to rinse between blotting, with tips from a contractor's assistant in this free video on carpet cleaning.

  • I definitely suggest blotting and not scrubbing. I have talk dot some experts at accident cleaners.com and they said that some carpet stains can sink into the padding

    underneath. This can cause the stain to make the whole room smell unpleasant even after the stain is gone

  • your carpet will "fall out" wtf are you taliking about, first off thats a berber and its a looped stich, and second your carpet wont "fall out" lol it will start to bubble because the structure of the carpet it moosh, carpet is tufted into the backings shut this guy up

    i instal carpet for a living water dissolve latex too especially these newer backings

    trust me this is deperation at this point folks, take it from someone who works with carpet everyday, shampooing, that powder shit pet fresh you put on your carpet and vaccum up, it all destroyes your carpet and you never get it all up and it all breaks down your carpet lessening the life of your floor, take it from a carpet guy who's been at this everyday water=new carpet
