lol about the mcdonalds part where the lady mentions they cant have someone who doesnt know what there doing like they cant have raw food with other foods basically wanting mcdonalds to have experts umm they kinda cant expect that they get paid minimum wage..
I never go to older fast food restaurants because they tend to be dirtier. But the biggest problem is that is seems that these restaurants sometimes go out of their way to hire dirty undereducated people to consume food and they don't train them. I worked in a restaurant and do you think they were overly concerned with cleanliness? No. They couldn't care less.
....sorry not hour i mean a week. They are getting paid less then what the corporation pays for example if you work for the corporation you would make approx. 45000 a yr. for general manager. In franchise that same postion pays apporx. 35000. Basicly the people are over worked and underpaid and noone is on their side. ITS ALL ABOUT THE BOTTOM DOLLAR.
....labor most franchise stores run anywhere from 14-20% on their labor cost. Which extreamly hurts the restaurant productivity. This is true with all companies. Basicly when running such tight labor cost, you are running with less people. Which means they are going to have to work harder and do more work. The people get tired and dont take as much effort into putting quality into the product that they are serving. Most mangers are on salary and work 50-60 sometimes more an hour.....
I have worked in the fast food business for 7 years. What I am about to say is not true of all restaurants but this is a huge problem. The problem is that most of these companies are franchised. The owner operators will make you believe that they are doing everyting that they can to run the business just as the corporation, but this is not entilerly true. The owner operators do not allow as much labor hours as corporate stores do. When most corporate stores may run an average of 20-23%......

Although this video is very disturbing, can you believe that 80% of foodborne illness is found in the home?
