@Boognish89 They are much better musicians and song writers on their later work than they were early on.

I enjoy more adventurous music, but compared to bands like Mr Bungle, Patton's Fantomas, Zappa's work with the synclavier, John Zorn, etc, Ween's early efforts come off as what they were, amateurish efforts by talented but unseasoned kids trying too hard, and not having the chops to back it up.

@33thadeus I respect Ween more than any other band out there, and know they're never pinned down to one thing, but the thing that I don't understand is people listen to their old shit and think they're a joke? And then they listen to this and think they're amazing. These are the "norm" people. Personally this was the only album of theirs I was disappointed by. Oh, and if I offended you in anyway, get the fuck over it.

@33thadeus I have my own opinions, if people are too close-minded to not be able to stand an amazing album, or give it a chance, then they should learn to appreciate their own crappy music. Ween has even said that this album was a bad sign for their future music.

@schwagmasterJT Pure Guava is their best record, and this is their worst, man even they know that. This is their least Brown album. Listen to GodWeenSatan and I think if you don't like that Ween's not for you.
