@ryguy2598 No one (certainly NOT your government) has bothered to do any studies to prove otherwise. The FDA, in its infinite wisdom, has ascertained that GMO foods are "similar enough" to Non-GMO foods to ASSUME they are safe.
Go to the Institute for Responsible Technology (responsibletechnologyDOTorg) for more information.

@MzProgressive Man.....So if what you say is true I'm assuming these symptoms of consuming GMO foods in animals would be similar in humans. It's a shame GMO foods are so prevalent today in the market.

Dr Pusztai is one of the heroes of Science for outing the facts behind GM crops. He was sacked for telling the truth. Thanks for sharing.

@ryguy2598 Read "Seeds of Deception" by Jeffrey Smith, which tells the whole story of Dr. Pusztai's research. Mice fed GMO potatoes exhibited drastic changes in their internal organs (liver esp.), the testicles of males turned dark blue, and reproduction was severely compromised or non-existent. (Litters were smaller, with many stillbirths.) Pigs and cattle fed GMO corn in the U.S. have given birth to empty bags of water, and livestock in India fed GMO cotton plants, died suddenly en masse.
