The argument that the team was built entirely around Manning is fine, and that the Colts should have had a backup plan, but be consistent with your arguments. I get sick and tired of reading this stuff about Manning. You're going to see when Luck is the Colts QB and can't get it done with a couple of possession receivers and no playmaking ability beyond 1 spectacular catch every 3 weeks by Garcon.
Manning is one of the best QBs in history, and I can't wait until he wins his 2nd SB to show it

I don't understand Patriots fans who back Brady. One minute Manning is the system QB and people say crap like "plug any QB in with Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark and he'll win." Brady is here working with the nobodies (even though the team went 11-5 without him). That's the words, right?
Then, Manning gets hurt, Colts don't win a game until like week 14, and NOW it's that "The team is built around Peyton."
It's either one or the other, folks.

@seanman70 Yeah, i don't have anything against Brady, he has worked really hard for all of his success. But I like to have fun with the rivalry though!
Manning for LIFE! LOL

Peyton Manning is the only man smart enough and MAN enough to do that! Everyone else in the league would have scored and given the ball back to Oakland with 1:30 left. A quick score, then an on-sides kick and it's all over for the Colts.
Peyton is a genius!

@TheForlanShow10 Cause the offense in the Colts are BUILT AROUND PEYTON MANNING. the pats were the far more balanced team than the colts. the Coaches were the ones to blame for a 2-14 season. Bill Belichek had backups practicing for hours even when brady was at full health

@ejvking3 imma manning fan but thats simply not true. Brady came to michigan when michigan had 5 other qbs that were better. He had to work and train and beat 4 qbs to get a starting job. then he was like 35-3 as a starter.

Because instead of giving the other team the ball and a chance to win, he can simply let the clock run down while having the lead

Clock management. And, he didnt want to give the ball back to the Raiders with time still on the clock.
