Among all the scenes in movies I recall watching as a child this particular one is probably one of my most revered. I'm not sure really how old I was when I first saw it, however, it still brings a tear to my eye. One thing is for sure, they don't make family/childrens movies like they used to. Anyone that criticizes this scene has serious issues in my opinion. I Miss Jim Henson a lot, for he was one of the world's greatest. We are definitely poorer for having lost him so soon.

Yeah, that's pretty good. But still, I can't help but tear up at least a little during this song. Especially at Scooter's part and Floyd's part...maybe because my three favorite Muppets are Janice, Floyd, and Scooter...oh well. This song is so sad in a good way.

The Muppeteers' pull the characters by string up in the air and move the mouths by radio control. For the extended bike scene, Jim's own son Brian is way up ahead, pulling the whole throng of Muppets behind him.
