This Warcraft movie tells the story of Price Arthas starting from the Scourge invasion in The Third War (Warcraft 3), The Culling of Stratholme City when he turns against Uther, followed up by the claiming of Frostmourne and his betrayal against Lordareon by killing his own father. After that he merges with Ner`zhul at the top of the Icecrown spire, becoming The Lich King. After this, the Story of World of Warcraft: WOTLK begins, finishing with the assoult of the Icecrown Citadel and finally with the death of Prince Arthas, one of the most emblematic characters in the all Warcraft Lore. The story of Prince Arthas becoming The Lich King is a great and a deep story, to fully understand it you must play the games !!

@Kalbaloo Not really the spirits in his sword did, when that human paladin broke his sword, during the fight, he in fact killed the heroes.
He was killed by his own weapon
