  • It would be fantastic if you made a video while you're out using it so one gets to see it with gear inside and when it's actually being used. And perhaps you could talk a little about the design and comfort and your experience with it. Thanks for making the video! Saving up for a Kaitum 2 myself.

  • @kinskibrain Will certainly keep that in mind. We're heading up to the Adirondacks in a couple of weeks to climb Mount Marcy. I hear they're getting dumped on with snow. I'll try to get some vid up of that trip. If not then, we're hiking the presidential traverse in NH mid January.

  • @stroutman81 But I am looking forward to seing your video and hope you have some great trips!

  • @stroutman81 Cool. I've read that the one minor problem with tunnel construction and super thin material like the kerlon 1200 is that it can get very noisy in windy conditions so earplugs can be a good idea. Noise does not bother me though as a the Allak is so much smaller for the same weight and the Keron with the heavier (more silent) material is much more heavy and does not have the fully open door option of the Kaitum. (I've been researching these for a long time but videos are scarce.
