For all of his dominance, Mike Tyson NEVER threw jabs. He threw hooks and uppercuts, which were supremely effective against 200 pound opponents. Not so effective against 230+ pound opponents, like Buster Douglas. The era of "small" heavyweights is gone, which is why a LOT of people bitch about the HW division. But, I embrace it. Huge guys throwing combinations... and boxing? Nobody but Ali did that in the division. Ever.
