Nice job on the canoe....Now, learnin' to drive the damn thing is harder than buildin it.
Wish I had the thin, patience and skills to do half as well. !!!

Dude. It looks like it paddles sweetly. Sit as low as you can get. Your weight is an advatage and adds stability. It looks like it has plenty of freeboard. Use it often with joy and give it to your grandkids.

How did you fall out? Passing wake from a boat? Tried to stand up? Leaned to far over?
I've got 2 more boats in the works right now to replace this one and both are going to be easy to carry and more stable.

the unstableness has nothing to do with you weight, mine is unstable but i can stand in it now with my push pole

Right, more like a lack of experience and time in the boat. Plus I realize now I should have sat further back in the pirogue instead of in the center. Thanks for the input.
