Hello Computerhilfen. My computer doesn't show the option of repairing it rather it just gives 2 options apart from Quit, Install and Delete Partition. I need the repair because my computer is restarting over and over and doesn't boot properly. HELPPPP Pleaseeee...!!!

@saadrkx No. A repair installation will only replace the files needed to run Windows XP. All personal data on the C drive, and any other drive for that, will be untouched. You will, however, need to reinstall any updates for Windows and Office, once it's done.

@kenneth3127 Did you take a look at your "repair tutorial", link mentioned above. Depending on your Windows version (Home, Premium...) you might not have all options available. There is also a helpful discussion on this topic in our free help boards - this one unfortunately in german only: computerhilfen.de/hilfen-5-32453-0.html
