Jay-Z interview riding around Brooklyn and listening to UGK year 2000

From his year 2000 MTV Diary Episode. This segment shows a day in the life Jay-Z riding around Brooklyn. He goes to a sneaker store to buy some white Jordan 6's, then he visits the World Famous Junior's Cheesecake, and then goes to Marcy Projects. He even takes time to stop and take pictures and signs autographs with some fans. The unique thing for me being from Houston, Texas is that while he is riding around Brooklyn, I noticed that he listening to the legendary Texas rap group UGK. The 2 songs from UGK that he is listening to are "Wood Wheel" and "Pocket Full Of Stones". I was shocked when I found out that one of Jay's favorite groups was UGK, and I guess this vid confirms how much of a fan he is of UGK, and Houston, Texas rap period. As we all know, Jay later went on to record a song with UGK called "Big Pimpin", and the rest is history. Enjoy.

@deion27 Yeah but you have to realize where jay is at right now. Since that was filmed he has made a couple hundread mill by selling rocawear alon for 232 mill in 07. He's been on oprahwalking thorugh marcy projects married beyonce' dropped more multi plats and makes more money than the president himself who who got to meet with a few weeks ago. You can't be too cautious when your a celebritiy of that status. Everyone isn't happy for you so why let your guard down and get another law suit.
