My hot keys and rotation is
1. serpent sting
2. black arrow
3. explosive shot
4.aimed shot
5.steady shot
When lock and load pops up i ignore the rotation and just use explosive shot till lock and load runs out
i pull about 7k in raids with that shit its really good

mages r the best kiters at gluth imo

Being geared as much as I am, I have ran two Naxx runs and wiped twice. One of them was Gluth, and I was put on kiting duty. My problem was that they dropped aggro from me and went towards Gluth. Never thinking about distracting shot, I tried DPSing them back. By then, Gluth got too much health and we decided to wipe it.
After seeing your video, I'm going to use distracting shot now. =D

I actually have changed a lot since this video. Now I change out a lot of my hotkeys and line up the following:
1. Multishot
2. Aimed Shot
3. Distracting Shot
4. Explosive Shot
So I have 4 possible instant shots for grabbing things quick.
5. Frost Trap
6. Deterrence
7. (a PvP free movement trinket of your choice)
The 6 and 7 are for if the stacks get nuts and you start getting beaten on badly.

I have tried to kite on Gluth a few times now, and I completely fail at it. I get so many stacks on me and I die leaving the other kiter to do it. The times we have tried it was hunter/hunter and hunter/mage. Any tips on kiting, because I am completely fail at it.

Well the way I'm going it in this video isn't a good example. Read the response I gave to sundinDT182. The key is to drop a trap in front of the grate and circle strafe around it. Keep that trap up 100% of the time. Besides the healer, I like to have another person helping. They can spend 90% of their time DPSing Gluth and then near the end, they can bring back a chow if it somehow gets up front or even help with the load, seeing as 5 chow are fine, but 9-10 is when it starts getting hectic.

uhmm some tips for nood - drop a frost trap right at the beginning infront of the middle grate (the side that's closest to gluth), and the just run around in a circle, trying to get them in a close-knit group. use deterrence if necessary.

Hehe, that's actually exactly what I do now. I've learned a lot since this one. I have a custom setup of hotkeys for this one:
1. Multi Shot
2. Aimed
3. Distracting
4. Explosive
5. Deterence
6. Frost Trap
I just concentrate on those, doing traps in front and circle strafing. If things get crazy I use Deterence but I've almost got it one manned. Generally I use another hunter - he does DPS until I get to about 5 chow then he comes back and we both circle strafe until Decimate.
