the ball is pops up on the screen from nowhere, It's better if it would come from out of screen. That's the main thing that bothers me.
How long did it take to make those squares to make a crowd? That's a really good solution to do that. feels like you know how to do 2D illusions, good job!
About the ball - it looks kinda too huge for a baseball and would look more real if it would come out from the middle of stage or something like that.
