How to win with a grunt rush #2

Another very powerful grunt rush that is best used in 3v3. You can easily take on 2-3 people by yourself with this strategy.


1. Build 3 warehouses first.
2. Build temple (then purchase 4 brute warriors)
3. Build hall
4. Purchase Peon upgrade
5. Demolish temple
6. Purchase 10 grunts
7. Go attack a UNSC opponent

By the time your 4th brute spawns, you should already have 8 grunts. This is when you attack. Go into a tight area behind the opponents base and keep teleporting grunts. You will have a very good economy which means you can use vortex to keep any warthogs away.

If they drop disruption bomb, move to the other side of the base and continue as usual. Brute warriors combined with plasma grenades will drop structures very fast. The only real counter to this is flamethrowers, but no one builds those in a 3v3.

Works best against UNSC, so attack their bases first. If PoR, arbiter, brute chiefton doesn't have a shield generator, you can attack their base if you want.

@MangaKaNoah yes, grunt squads for brute chieftain are a bit more powerful because the elite in the squad is replaced with a brute with a brute shot. I personally like the prophet of regret because his honor guards look awesome.

really... ppl bu8ild flamers in 3v3 and honestly, since many ppl have mics when they play halo wars, the person you attack will prolly tell his team that you are grunt rushing them, etc, and eventually, you will have flamers, etc to deal with.

Hog rush I agree, but grunts are pretty rare to encounter. It's mostly leader rushes that people use.
